Switchvox SMB Version 5.0 - An even better way to communicate
Towards the goal to be the number one chosen IP-PBX system, major capabilities have been introduced into Switchvox, center upon Enhanced User Mobility and Easier to Use and Smarter system
Work Where and How You Want to Work.
With enhanced Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC), you can receive, transfer and record calls from any location. The Converged Phones feature lets you set all your phones to work with and act like your Switchvox extension. It keeps things simple no matter where you are.
Easy Call Transfers
With an InCall Menu, from any phone, you can access instructions and commands to easily acknowledge, transfer, and record calls on-demand.
Easier-to-Use and Smarter
With very little retraining, administrators can take advantage of the faster, state-of-the-art user interface that makes Switchvox so easy to use. The new menus group your Switchvox tasks together more effectively. If you mouseover the new menus, you'll easily see where everything is. Not to mention, Extend API has been enhanced to allow for further customization of Switchvox and integration with 3rd-party applications.
Improved Queue Reporting & Queue Logs
Now adminstrators can easily see detailed reporting information for their call queues, right down to the caller, time of day, and details such as "abandoned calls," "paused members," and more. Find out all the details about every call that comes to a Switchvox queue. See how many calls have been dropped, abandoned, and redirected. Correlate data from the logs and reports and see trends with your calls to better staff your queues and manage your calls with Switchvox. With detailed reporting, instantly see what's happening in your queues to continually improve your sales and customer service processes.
Prior to version 5.0, concurrent calls were displayed on the Current Calls page. Concurrent Calls is now available as a report that shows concurrent calls by type or provider, for a range of dates and times. This new information will be available in concurrent calls beginning on the date and time that you update to version 5.0.
More 5.0 Features!
- Bulk-Modify for Extensions is a new tool that lets you modify the settings of multiple phone-type extensions. You just collect the extensions you want to modify, then create a set of modifications to make on all of those extensions.
- Outgoing Call Rules are now managed as a collection. You can put a rule into the collection as Allow or Deny. If a rule should be ignored, then leave a rule out of the collection. Additionally now you can have a failover feature, and you can add up to five failover routes. This means that you don't have to create multiple rules to cover failover.
- Ordered Call Rules Caller ID Rules (incoming and outgoing), and Incoming DID Routes can now be ordered.
- Several Setup tools now have "Note" capability so you can annotate items you create.
- Extension Groups are now managed as a collection. You can put as many Extension Groups in the collection as you want, and Groups can now contain Groups. For example, you might have a Group called Sales California, and one called Sales New York. If you need a Group that includes sales people on both coasts, create a Group called Sales All, and put the CA and NY Groups into the Sales All Group. Also Extension Groups can now include any kind of extension, and even other Groups. Groups can be used in: Call Queues, as members, Outgoing Caller ID Rules and IVR Options, to allow dialing from the IVR
- Permissions for all of the Switchvox features have been grouped to help you manage them more easily.
